We have had an OUTSTANDING time learning about letter Oo, Octopi and Octopus Stew this week! Monday night we were given a "research" assignment to see if we could find out how the octopi/octopus protect themselves. We were excited to learn octopus are able to squirt ink to protect themselves and are also able to change their skin color and texture to blend in to their surroundings!
Camouflaged was the word we learned to describe this hiding trick of the octopi. We cant wait until Friday when Mrs. Daily says we are going to eat Octopus Stew! Yum! Yum!
