We have many fun activities planned for this
Christmas season! Please read below to
see what we will be doing!
1.
We will be visiting the Lockhart Library on
Dec.11th. We will be leaving our school around 9:30 and returning by
11 am. Parents are welcome to join us. .
2.
We will be painting Christmas T-shirts. Please have your child bring a short or long sleeved solid t shirt…if they would
like to paint one. We will be painting
these on Thursday, Dec. 12th.
New or used is OK. Green, red, or
white works best for our glittery Rudolf T-shirts! If you
would like to help out with painting these, on the morning of Dec. 12th please
let me know.
3.
Please remember our Christmas Extravaganza
performances will take place on Dec. 18th at 9:00am and 1:30
pm. You won’t want to miss it. Everyone
is welcome!
4.
We will be having a Christmas Breakfast/Brunch
on
Dec. 20th around 8:30 am. We will have a “grown-up” style
Party.
Children are asked to bring a goodie to share with
the class.
This day is one of the three days that we do
not have to follow Food of Minimal Nutrition
Guidelines. …so all foods are allowed.
3. We will be making a Christmas stocking for our
Christmas Gift/Surprises. Please decorate the sack (stocking)that you will find in your child's homework folder today and have your child return it by Dec. 13th. Each child will then
need to purchase or make something that can be shared with his/her classmates
during Gift Week (Dec. 16th-20th)
.These items will be placed in the stockings/sacks during Gift Week. On Party Day, Dec. 20th, all students will
have a Gift Stocking all the same!
Examples for gifts might be:
-
a package of stickers-each child is given 1 or 2
-
a package of markers- each child is given 1
-
handmade goodies, by the parent or child
-
handmade ornaments or cards
-
small toys, favors, games
-
coupons
-
candy
-
you might have a more creative idea…anything is
fine!
-No other gifts will
be needed.
-Mrs. Daily’s class
has 22 students.
Thanks for all of
your help in making this an extra special time of year!
