Veterans Day!

                                                       
We will be honoring Veterans tomorrow at Carver. Please remember  to wear red,white and blue to help us honor our veterans!

Pirate Party for Pp!

                                                     
 Today was a perfect day for a pirate party. To end our week of learning, we pretended we were Pirates for the letter Pp! We read the book "How I Became a Pirate" about a little boy that was excited to join the pirates until he discovered all of the things the pirates don't do, like getting bedtimes stories read to them or having their parents tuck them in at night.  We also decided it was fun to be pirates for a day, but we really would not like the life of a pirate!


First we became pirates!

"Aargh!"

Then we created treasure maps.....

 We created our map to look like a real treasure map.

 Then we colored and drew and rolled it just right!

Wow what smart pirates!

Finally we went in search of buried treasure.........

Our map took us all around the school......

....until we found GOLD!

.....and buried treasure!

"Shiver me Timbers!"  Learning in Kindergarten is so fun!

Show Time!

We were so excited to see our friends in costume today as we came to school ready to perform our Monster Mash Musical!

50 Days of Kindergarten!

Zero the Hero came today for the fifth time!  We can't believe we have been in Kindergarten 50 days!  We are half way to 100!

Monster Mash on Thursday!

Parents, remember that tomorrow at 10 am our class will be performing their Monster Mash Musical!  Children may wear their Halloween costumes.  Children that are leaving after the performance may sign out with Mrs. Daily. We look forward to a great show!

Miss Spider's Tea Party!

What can you make with two crackers,chocolate chips, some pretzels, and a little bit of cream cheese?

A spider, of course!

 We could not wait until Miss Spider's tea party!

We had to postpone her tea party until today since we missed school on Halloween!

 We each created and enjoyed a yummy spider treat!

 And sipped yummy spider tea!

 So delicious!

 Spiders, each complete with eight legs!

 We love having tea with Miss Spider!

Monster Mash Rescheduled for Thursday, Nov. 7th!

We were so excited to hear that the Monster Mash has been rescheduled for this Thursday, Nov. 7th!  Our performance time will be  10-10:45am.  Children MAY wear their Halloween costume!   We hope to see you there!
