We had to think quick and scramble to get in a group when we read the number word.
Locked in on three!
Now we have a set of four!
Four more!
We are still in the game!
Sets of one make us stand alone!
Hurry, hurry, get with a partner to make a set of two!
Five alive!
Then we read number words to put a crazy toothbrush hat in the right order!
We did a fun experiment this week to help us remember to take care of our teeth. We put an egg in vinegar, milk, soda and water to see what happens. Just as an egg shell protects what is inside the egg, our tooth covering called enamel protects our teeth. We discovered that soda stains our teeth and the vinegar (or acid) made our tooth soft and unprotected. We know that water and milk do not harm our teeth. We have learned that it is very important to brush, floss and eat healthy foods.
Learning in Kindergarten is tons of fun!
