DINOSAURS ARE DINO-MITE!

We have loved learning about the dinosaurs that roamed our Earth so long ago! We ended our study of dinosaurs with a fun Friday activity!
Our room was invaded by dinosaurs as we each created our own dinosaur attire!

We cooked Dino Dirt to eat!
We needed:           1002 drops of swamp water
 59 squished bugs
 98 crushed bones
 92 spoonfuls of dirt
63 spoonfuls of dead grass and the fat of one T-REX
WE added all of the ingredients together............
 and mixed and stirred...........
 for some DELICIOUS DINO DIRT!

We thought we'd share the recipe because it was sooooooo DELICIOUS!

 Dino Dirt Recipe
¼ cup dirt  (cocoa)
½ cup swamp water (green milk)
2 cups crushed bones (sugar)
½ cup T-Rex fat ( butter)
2 cups dead grass (oatmeal)
½  cup squished bugs (peanut butter or Nutella for allergy reasons)

Mix dirt and swamp water.  Add crushed bones and fat. Cook over low heat until melted.
Add squished bugs and dead grass.  Stir until mixed.  Remove from heat and stir until mixture starts to thicken.  Drop by tablespoons onto waxed paper.  Cool, eat and enjoy!

 Yummy!
"It looks yucky but it tastes good!"
WE love DINO DIRT!

Then it was time for ROARING AND STOMPING!

 STOMP, STOMP!
ROAR!
STOMP, STOMP!
ROAR!

Learning about DINOSAURS has been lots of fun!
