I Want to be a PALEONTOLOGIST When I Grow Up!

We are fascinated with dinosaurs, this week, as we learn about these creatures that roamed the Earth millions of years ago.   We have loved reading books and watching short video clips about some of these interesting creatures. We found out that some of the dinosaurs were meat-eaters(carnivores) and some were plant-eaters(herbivores). We were surprised to find out that the biggest dinosaurs were plant eaters and they could often be found standing in the water because they weighed so much.  We learned that paleontologists are scientists that study fossils or bones to learn about life on our Earth long ago.  Today we became paleontologists as we  "excavated" bones and studied fossils!  We then named our dinosaurs findings and wrote a report to tell about it!!  Paleontologist work is WAY COOL!!!
