SunSHine, SHades, and SHadows!

SH-h-h-h-h! We are learning the  SH "letter team" this week! We are working hard to SHine and poliSH our skills for first grade, as well as, have lots of fun these last weeks of school!

 Ready for some summer sunSHine!

 We had fun experimenting with our SHadows.  We learned that there must be light before we can have shadows. 

First we traced our SHadows!

We came back later to see that our SHadows SHrunk! Oh no! What happened?

Then our shadows tried to hide behind us!

 We discovered that at different times of the day, the sun moved in the sky and that made our shadows shrink and move!
