Spread Your Wings and Fly!

Kindergarten is over! We must say goodbye to our friends and also our butterfly, "Elsa". We have watched Elsa since she was a caterpillar. We were fascinated to see her form her chrysalis and then emerge from her safe and secure cocoon. We released Elsa and watched her spread her wings and fly. Now Kindergarten is over and we too will spread our wings and fly!

Our beautiful butterfly hatched! We were so excited to see her!

The children gave her encouragement by chanting her name!

We were amazed when Elsa spread her wings and flew away.

It has been a wonderful year! Have a super summer!

We Graduated!

Today was our Kindergarten graduation! We can not believe it has come so fast. Thanks for sharing your child with me. It has been a great year! I will miss them but know that they are ready to move to first grade prepared to read, write and solve problems! I am very proud of all of them.

Carver Splash Day!

We had a super fun day celebrating Kindergarten as we splashed through many Dr. Seuss Play Day stations.Thanks to all who helped make it a fun day! Special thanks to Mrs. Hutchins and Ms. Martin, our PE teachers for a fun filled morning. Take a look at all of the fun we had!

Magical Friday!

Today was a MAGICAL DAY! Carver PTO sponsored a Magic Show for the kids at Carver. We loved seeing John O'Bryants comedy magic show. We were amazed at his magic! We decided we all wanted to be a magician.

It was fun to see one of our friends do tricks with the magician.

After the show we wrote about our favorite part. We are getting really good at writing sentences. Then we decided we could perform magic tricks of our own.
