May is Here!

We have some very special activities planned for these last few days of school.  Please note the days and activities below:

Friday, May 2^nd-   Our Field trip to Scottish Rite Theatre in Austin. Picnic and playtime in

                           Mary Moore Searight park afterwards.

Wednesday, May 7-  DRA testing for individual reading levels.

Tuesday, May 13- Envision Math assessment

Week of May 19-23   Book Fair

Friday, May 23rd -PE Splash Day!  Parents are welcome to join us.  Please send your child with sun block on. We will be outside most of the day.

Monday, May 26^th –Game Day  Bring a board game, card game etc.  You may also bring coloring books and crayons.  No electronics please.

Tuesday, May 27^th- Graduation Ceremonies@ 9:40 am Cookies and punch reception following in our classroom. Children may leave after our reception!

Wednesday, May 28^th- SLUMBER PARTY

-We will have a "pretend" slumber party (during the day).  We will spend the day watching movies, playing games and eating treats.  Children may wear pajamas (an oversized T-shirt and shorts makes a good substitute) and bring their sleeping bag if they wish.  If they would like to bring a snack for themselves that day…that would be great!    

Thursday, May 29^th- Outside Play day………Bring something fun to play outside. Good items might be hula hoops, jump rope, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, balls, etc.

FRIDAY, May 30th  LAST DAY OF KINDERGARTEN! -Early Release!

WE LOOK FORWARD TO THESE FUN DAYS AS WE CELEBRATE ALL THE THINGS WE HAVE ACCOMPLISHED IN KINDERGARTEN!
